Obituary of Lois Mabel Sibbald
SIBBALD, LOIS (White) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of family; on September 27th, 2021, at the age 77.
Beloved wife of the late George Sibbald (2000). Loving mother of Janet Dear (Steve), Jo-Anne Lyddiatt and Susan Daudelin (Tim). Cherished grandmother of Brett (Brie), Elizabeth, Kelsey, Michael (Jeniffer), Roy and Brandon (Cherise). Devoted great grandmother of Brantley and Juliette. Dear sister of Jean Pennanen, Pearl James, Ann Leishman (Clinton), Alice Kennedy and Sheila Matthews (David). She will also be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Audrey Sims, Heather Carrey and brother-in-law Brian Sibbald (Colleen). Lois was predeceased by her parents William and Kathleen White, mother and father-in-law Jack and Gladys Sibbald, brother Bruce White, sister Evelyn Walker (Jack) and in-laws Elmer Pennanen, Judy Newstead, Gord Sims and Phil Carrey.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland, Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Please click the R.S.V.P. link through our website to schedule your attendance. For those that do not have access to our website please call to reserve your attendance. Those that attend are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Lining-up and cycling of guests will be managed by the funeral home staff both indoors and outdoor. A grave side service will be held on Thursday at Doan’s Ridge Cemetery at 11am with an hour visitation at the Funeral home starting at 10am. As expression of sympathy, donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
