Peacefully passed with family by her side at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Monday, June 21st, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of John “Jack” just shy of their 52nd anniversary. Loving mother of Corey and Jason (Alissa). Proud grandmother of Paige and Noah. Dear sister of Lynda (Brian), Lorna (Brian), Lorrie (Doug) and Lucinda (Doug). Predeceased by her parents George and Gladys Lockhart. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, June 24th, 2021 from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will take place the following day on Friday, June 25th, 2021 at 11 am and will be livestreamed for guests to attend virtually. Due to COVID restrictions, only immediate family and invited guests will be present in-person for the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois’s memory may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital, and are greatly appreciated by the family.
