Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear dad Lloyd Henry Houle. Lloyd was born on October 10, 1950, in Portage La Prairie, MB. Left to mourn and cherish his memory are his wife Betty, daughters Norma (Kevin), Elaine (Sam), Lisa (Cornell), Bonnie (Paul) and Julia (Trevor), siblings Elizabeth (Jim), Leona (Rick) and Eddy (Claudia), stepchildren Charlene (Wayne), Dwayne (Ruby) and Brian, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Dad is predeceased by his parents Adelard and Elizabeth Houle, brothers Joseph and Bob, sisters Lillian, Diane, Irene, Bernice, Matilda, great grandson Jayden Houle, stepdaughter Ernestine and stepson Scott.
Dad had a great love for his family, he was a hard-working humble man who spent most of his working years as a carpenter after retiring he carried on as a traditional teacher and was always willing lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Dad enjoyed supporting sundances and was a sundance chief himself. He also liked to attend pow wows. Taking care of his home and ranch and caring for his bison brought him great joy. Dad will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him.
