Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on January 22, 2021, Lloyd George Youden of Georgetown, Nl, aged 82 years.
Predeceased by his parents: William and Margaret Youden, brothers Winston and John and sister Emmie Evely.
Leaving to mourn, with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 62 years, Cecilia (nee Linthorne), children Linda Gilkinson (Kent), Lloyd (Nancy), four grandchildren Courtney Gilkinson Hall (Shannon), Kayla Gilkinson ( Matthew Spurrell), and Matthew Youden (Tessa Whelan) and Megan Youden , siblings Frances (Victor) Antle, Blanche (Michael) Baldwin, William Youden (Stella-deceased), Charlotte (William) Saunders, Jean (Paul) Kieley, Manita (Peter) Ryan, David Youden (Julie), sister-in-law Doreen ((Jim) Mugford and Gertrude (Deceased) Ralph Loveless, also a large number of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
George was an engineer, a teacher, a farmer and man who believed in the value of hard work. He loved stories, he was a provider, a protector and a sentimental man. He dearly loved his wife and family and will be missed by all his family and friends.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus.
Time of visitation and funeral to be announced
