Obituary of Liz Gammack
Liz passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, with her family surrounding her as she had wished on Saturday December 4thth, 2021. Loving wife of Martin Gammack who passed away in January 2014, predeceased by her parents James and Florence Bacon and siblings Jim, Dorothy, Albert, Ron, Bill, Bette, Florence and Barbara, devoted sister to Mollie and Dave, special aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews, beloved mother to Jennifer, Douglas, Laura and Susan, mother-in-law to Adrian, Gordon and Jodie, cherished grandmother to Hilary, Meredith, Evan (Ellie), Nigel, Aedan, Emma, Madi (Jake), Nathaniel, Alison, Charlie and Molly and precious friend to a treasured group from Toronto, Oakville, Lakefield and Dunedin and Clearwater, Florida.
Liz’s quiet grace and humble manner were a blessing to all who knew her…always a kind (or witty!) word and acts of love and service marked her life. A soft footfall to accompany a great soul. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
In lieu of flowers…tributes to St. John the Baptist Anglican church in Lakefield or The Arms of Jesus Children’s Mission in Pickering would be greatly appreciated.
