Liona Elsie Oberg
(March 2, 1924 – July 25, 2021)
Liona “Leona” Elsie Oberg of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Meeting Creek, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the age of 97 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Jean (Mel) Larsen of Grande Prairie, Linda Hoy of Grande Prairie, Debbie Humbke of Lacombe, Ron (Colleen) of Bashaw, and Don (Angela) of Rimbey; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother Harry Krause of Duhamel.
Leona was predeceased by her husband Maurits; parents John and Lila Krause; grandson Dan; granddaughter Emily; brothers Earl (Lillian) Krause, Ralph (Leona) Krause, and Roy (Marge) Krause; and sister-in-law Julie Krause.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from the CityLights Church with Rev. MaryAnn Pastuck officiating.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Leona’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, STARS Air Ambulance, or to the Camrose and District Senior Centre Society.
