Death notice for the town of: London, Province: Ontario
Dear Family of Lindsey Pursey,
I noted the passing of your dear father today in the paper.
I met Mr. Pursey in 1986 when I joined CIBC as an analyst. He was our senior executive and worked directly with the bank Chairman. Notably, all he was a major promoter of women and diversity at a time when few were. He was an enlightened leader and manager. Everyday, after lunch, he would visit our floor and check in with everyone. If I had an issue getting something done, he would advise me or clear whatever roadblock had presented itself. A very impressive and intelligent man.
Sorry for your loss,
Phoebe Wright
