Wild: Linda
Wild, Linda (nee Giffin) after a long and brave fight with cancer, died peacefully at home with her family. Linda is predeceased by her husband Jim. She will be greatly missed by daughter Lisa Wild and her husband Bryan Trodden, by daughter Betsy McCulloch and by daughter Catherine Wild and her husband John Scott. Granddaughters Sara and Emma McCulloch, Bailey, Eiryn and Piper Laing and Step-Granddaughters Andrea, Jenna and Leah Scott will miss the gentle and kind presence of their grandmother. The family would like to thank Linda’s close friends Kim Brooks and Alma Bellringer for being supportive to her every day. Linda was an inspiration to so many people during her long illness. She was a resilient woman who never gave in to feeling defeated. The family would like to thank the Cancer Centre of Eastern Ontario and specifically Dr Mates and Dr Ostic. Thanks go out as well to Dr Kondor and nurses Meagan and Kristy for providing excellent end of life care. Donations in Linda’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Cancer Centre of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated. Cremation has already taken place. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family asks that you share special memories, photos or stories of Linda.
