Obituary of Linda June O’Donnell
O’DONNELL, LINDA “JUNE”
June 10, 1949 – November 21, 202
It is with great sadness that the family, announce the passing of Linda “June” O’Donnell of Mazerolle Settlement, NB after a brief illness on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Bettsburg, NB, on June 10, 1949, Linda, who was commonly known as June was the daughter of the late Willard and Christina O’Donnell.
She will be forever missed by her life long partner and Forever Friend, Frances Ward. She will also be sadly missed by her only son, Randy O’Donnell (Tanita); grandsons, Brandon (Caitlyn), Travis ( Shelby ), and Tye; great grandson, Brantley; chosen daughter, Jodi Lofstrom, as well as her extended family. Survived also by brothers, Wendell O’Donnell (Barb), Allison O’Donnell (Heather); sister, Krista MacNaughton (Ken); sister in-law, Dora; June will also be remembered and missed by her several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts, as well as Frans extended family, and many friends. In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by her brother, Edwin O’Donnell and niece, Marlene Wilkinson.
Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, New Bandon, NB on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 5-8 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 2 pm with Rev. Wayne Flowers officiating. For those attending the public visitation or funeral service, masks are required and will need to provide proof of vaccination and government issued ID. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
