Obituary of Linda Cornish
It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Faye Cornish (nee Carr) announces her passing on May 13th, 2021, at the Carleton Kirk Place. Born June 18th, 1948 in Fredericton, NB to her adoring parents Allen and Doreen Carr.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband Brian Cornish, her cherished daughter Anna Robichaud, and son David Gorill; her loving grandchildren Brandon, Adam and Wyatt; and her adored great granddaughter Skylen. Linda is predeceased by both of her parents who is now peacefully reunited with.
During her life Linda developed a love for classic rock from the 1960’s and 70’s. Her and Brian could be found enjoying and dancing the night away to their favourite songs. Linda also held a special place in her heart for animals and truly adored her pets she had throughout her life. When it came time to enjoying nature, you could find Linda at Saint Rests Beach near the Irving Nature Park. On her downtime she enjoyed knitting, painting and completing various puzzles.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Cremation will take place at Brenan’s Funeral Home with a private family gathering at a later date. Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue
