WALTON, Linda Pearl- Passed away peacefully at GNGH on September 7, 2021 at the age of 78. Predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Mary Walton and her brother Robert (d. 1999) (Joan). She is survived by her sister, Kathryn (Jim) Childs. She leaves behind her nieces, Laura, Robin and Beth Shaw (David), Jennifer Gane (Geoff) and Lauren Angle and great niece Giuliana, Gabriela and great nephew Mikey and many friends. She also leaves her feline girls, Laverne and Shirley.
Linda was born on September 6, 1943 in Niagara Falls, and worked in the banking industry until her retirement from the Bank of Montreal in Toronto in 2000. Linda enjoyed many hobbies but her real passion was quilting at which she excelled. We have been so blessed to have had Linda in our lives, and are so deeply saddened with a huge void in our hearts. We miss you now, and forever. Love you! We would like to express our sincere thanks to nursing staff at GNGH for their exceptional care of Linda.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street. In memory of Linda, donations to the Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
