Linda Marion Tooley Sunday February 14th 2021

Linda Marion Tooley (Burns), passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday the 14th February 2021, surrounded by her family, to be reunited with her husband Gordon.
Linda of Lunenburg, originally from Addlestone, Surrey, England, was the daughter of the late Ralph & Queenie (Saunders) Burns.
Linda enjoyed many outdoor activities, including swimming, canoeing/ kayaking, camping & hiking over hills & across fields, whatever the weather, she loved to be outside & by the water.
She also enjoyed being at home in her garden, growing fruit & veg, baking cakes & making jams, which were enjoyed by the whole family. She loved to spend time with her many grandchildren, which helped keep her young, both physically & at heart. She also enjoyed helping others, by volunteering at the church & many charities, in both England & Canada, including the Lunenburg Legion & Riverport Lions, as well as at the Fishermens Memorial Hospital, helping the veterans. Linda was always ready & willing to help others in any way she could.
She is survived by her seven children: Peter (Joanne) King, Catherine (Ian) Crouch, Michelle (Neil) Heighes, David (Lisa) King, Sean Tooley, Georgina Tooley and Ralph (Jenny) Tooley; step-children, David Tooley & Mandy Tooley & by her 14 grand children, brother Ralph Burns and several nieces and nephews.
Donations to the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or Cancer Care Canada would be appreciated by the family.
