Linda Lou Carter
1952-2021
Linda Lou Carter, wife of Ron Carter of Miramichi, NB, passed away suddenly at home on August 26, 2021, at the age of 69.
Born in Tracadie, NB on July 20th, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Beverly (McLeod) Stymiest. She was an adherent of St. Andrew’s United Church. Linda was a Homemaker, and was also a Clerical Support Worker. She had beautiful gardens and loved gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Carter; daughters: Kari Carter (Joey Hachey) of Miramichi, and Sarah Carter (Terry McFarlane) of Miramichi; sons: John Carter (Laura) of Miramichi, Greg Carter (Faye Bellavance) Grand Bay-Westfield, NB; sister: Ann McKeil (Don) of Lindsay, ON; and six grandchildren: Carter, Chelsea, Abby, Elizabeth, Leon, and Annie. She is predeceased by her parents: Jack and Beverly Stymiest.
By request, there will be no visitation. A PUBLIC graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi, NB at 11 AM with The Rev. Charlene Maguire-MacKnight officiating.
Please Note: Facemasks are highly encouraged when physical distancing is not possible.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Food Bank, or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
