Linda Jean Symes
1947-2021
FORDS MILLS,
NB – It is with great sadness that the family announces the
peaceful passing of Linda Symes 74, surrounded by her loving family at
her residence in Fords Mills on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
Born in
Harvey Station, she was the daughter of the late Philip Roberts and
late Ruth (Charters) Roberts.
Linda loved
with all her heart, she treasured the times spent with her family they
were her world. She
loved to go thrift shopping, moose hunting and her flower garden.
She will be forever
missed.
Linda will be sadly missed by
her loving husband of 47 years, Vance Symes of Fords Mills; two
daughters, Elaine Bona (James) of Targettville; Shelly Roberts of
Cails Mills; six sons, James Roberts of Browns Yard, Arthur Roberts
(Nancy) of Moncton, Wayne Roberts of Moncton, Neil Roberts (Rosa) of
Indian Island, Robert Symes (Angele) of Cocagne, Philip Symes (late
Maureen) of Fords Mills and many grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
She is also survived by one
brother, Benjamin Roberts (Dianne) of Cocagne and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was
predeceased by one sister, Doris and one sister-in-law,
Muriel.
Visitation will be held at
Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Monday from 2-4
& 7-9 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions
masks are mandatory. The Funeral Service will be
held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm at St. Paul’s
Anglican Church in Browns Yard for immediate family and by invite
only. The family would like to
extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Eric Martin, the Extra Mural
staff, Treva Kelly and Rev. Christopher Ketch for all their visits and
the compassionate care they provided to
Linda.
