It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Elizabeth Richards, 68, of Bridgewater, announce her passing on Monday, March 29, 2021, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy (Irvine) Richards.
Linda was proud of her daughters and their accomplishments, and helped to support them in any way possible. She enjoyed baking, and her bread and raisin cookies were always appreciated. She also had a love of the ocean and sailing and in her spare time enjoyed doing lexicon puzzles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her one granddaughter, Sidney, whom she referred to as “Munchkin”.
Linda is survived by her daughters; Shelley (Stuart) Buck, Chester Basin, Sherrey Kaiser, Lunenburg; granddaughter, Sidney; sisters, Debbie (Mike) McAdam, Peterborough, ON, Laurie (Lynn) Wamboldt, Centre; brother, Billy (Madonna) Richards, Lunenburg, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother, Lloyd.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. In keeping with Linda’s wishes there is to be no public memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
