Obituary of Lillian Harriett Coffin
Passed peacefully away on October 25, 2021 Lillian Harriett Coffin at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor. She was 82 years of age and retired from Central Health. Lillian was a member of the Bishop’s Falls United Church. Predeceased by husband Arthur, parents Eligah and Rowena Gillard, sisters Marie Vincent, Lucy Sheppard and Mary Sheppard. Left to mourn are sons John (Susan), Roger (Lori); daughter Deborah (Ingo) Soltau. Also leaving to mourn special neice Bonnie Thorne, brother Calvin (Deanna) Gillard; grandchildren Lisa Coffin, Krista (Edwin) Northcott and Ashley (Robert) Mills; great grandchildren Bradley, Lucus and Blake; along with other relatives and friends. Lillian loved life and was involved in church activities. She enjoyed darts, bingo, good game of cards, dancing and was the life of the party.
Following COVID regulations, visitation will be on Wednesday from 7 – 9 p.m. at Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop’s Falls.
The funeral service will be by invitation only followed by interment at The United Cemetery, Bishop’s Falls on Thursday.
