Bridges, Lilian Rose “Nan” – Passed away
peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday March 9, 2021
in her 99th year. Predeceased by her
beloved husband Arthur “Kenneth” Bridges (1992).
Cherished mother of Jennifer Morby. Proud grandmother of
Jayne (Scott) Bell, Sarah (Allan) Murphy and Paul (April) Morby and
great-grandmother of Sterling, Abigail, Mathew, Jack, Emily, Grace and
Lily. Lilian immigrated from England to Canada in 1977 and
lived in Cambridge for 30 years spending her last 10 years in Paris
Ontario. She enjoyed her career as a Grocery Clerk in
England and spent her early years in Canada looking after
neighbourhood children. She loved to knit; she was still
knitting up until her last days. At Lilian’s
cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest with her
husband Kenneth at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge at a later
date. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to a
charity of one’s choice, would be greatly appreciated by the
family.
