Lila May MacKenzie
1935-2021
The death occurred at Margaret Stewart Ellis Home,
O’Leary on Thursday, June 3, 2021 of Lila May MacKenzie of
O’Leary aged 86, wife of the late Albert MacKenzie. Lila was
born in Summerside on February 25, 1935, daughter of the late Ivan and
Athens (Collicutt) Waite.
Cherished mom to Craig (Eileen), West Cape; Ivan (Beth)
Summerside; Paul (Arlene), Summerside and Hazen (Darlene), Hebron.
Loving grammy to Ezra, Christopher, Dustin, Sally, Krista, Kandice,
Matthew, Ruth, Nicholas and her great grandchildren Zachary, Joshua,
Emma, Caden, Alise, Matao, Kayah, Haven, Sterling, Davis, Carson,
Aria, Shay, Livy, Reid, Quinn, Winnie and Kade.
Sister in law to Margaret MacMillan, West Cape. Lila is also
survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand
nephews.
Lila was predeceased by her parents, husband Albert, sisters
Rita Seip, Norma MacIsaac, brothers Clayton Waite and Gordon
Waite.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, private family
visiting and funeral service for invited guests. Interment to follow
in the Mount Royal Peoples Cemetery.
