With sadness, we announce the passing of Lidia on November 2, 2021 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband Umberto (April 6, 2003), she leaves behind her cherished son Romano (Maria). Proud nonna of Patricia (Rocco) and bisnonna of Julia and Anthony.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church (640 Glenholme Ave., at Eglinton Ave. – east of Dufferin St.) on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Lidia will then be laid to rest with her husband at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., east of Caledonia Rd.).
In memory of Lidia, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
