KARKHECK, Leslie John “Les”, 67, of Stratford passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
He was born in Stratford on November 1, 1953 a son of the late Henry and Doretta “Marie” (Place) Karkheck.
He was the loving father of Henry Karkheck, Robert & Bernadette Karkheck, Heather and William Howe, James Karkheck, Steven and Jessica Karkheck, Jeff and Vanessa Karkheck; grandfather of Talya, Bailey, Ethan, Jamie, Kal-el, Rami-el, Brandon, Lawson, Roselynn and Mackenzie; great grandfather of Alyda and Jaxsyn; brother of Harry Karkheck, Dorothy and Glen Figg, Gayle and Terry Sass, William and Mary-Jane Karkheck and Florence Cleaveley; good friend of Rick Brown and Kathy Scott-Russell.
He was predeceased by his twin sister, Linda Jean Karkheck (Nov. 1, 1953 – Aug. 7, 2008); his sisters, Helen Karkheck, Edith Karkheck (in childhood); his brothers, Steven Crawley, Wayne Crawley (in infancy).
A family visitation to celebrate Les’ life was held in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
