Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Marshall. He was our father, grandpa and a great friend. Leslie was born in 1934 and raised in Big Beaver, located in southern Saskatchewan. He moved to British Columbia with his wife, Bernadine and his two children, Andy and Caroline (Raine). Eventually settling in Langley. His career was spent in the tire industry working for over 30 years at Kal Tire. Leslie and Bernadine moved to Kelowna in mid 1990’s to join their daughter and grandchildren after Leslie retired.
Leslie was a quiet person, who often kept to himself. Always willing to help out. He was a great inventor who could fix anything. And what he couldn’t fix he would come up with an idea that would work better. Although he missed his brothers and sister back in Saskatchewan, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He loved his BC Lions and Vancouver Canucks, even though they always frustrated him when they could not win the big game.
Les is survived by his daughter, Caroline (Bill), his son, Andy (Sandra); his grandchildren, Justin, Jamie, Tamara, Kayla and Benjamin; step grandchildren, Alex, Erica, Ryan; great grandchildren, Wes, Ty, Dax, Faith, Maddie, Isaiah; brothers, Art, Ron, Keith, Bob and sister, Shirley.
We miss him so much and know he is now at peace.
