Obituary of Leo Patrick Brunette
BRUNETTE, Leo Patrick – It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the unexpected passing of Leo Brunette, at the age of 62 years.
Now resting peacefully with his late wife and soulmate Monique Brunette. Dear son of Jack and Daisy Brunette, both predeceased. Loving and caring father of Patrick (Jessica) and Robyn (Cameran). Loving papa to Selena, Leon and Eli and Grandpa to Emmie and Nash. Cherished brother of Karen Perreault (Late Bob), Kim and the late Guy (Smiley). He will be happily remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Leo was a devoted father, friend and known for his involvement in the community, leaving behind great lessons and of course the memory of his infectious laugh. He was happiest when surrounded by nature, fishing on the river and would never pass up the opportunity to lend a helping hand.
Friends may gather at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #5, Chapleau on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A private funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, masking indoors is mandatory and there will be a limited number of guests allowed in the Legion at one time. You may be asked to wait, please be patient. Again, due to the pandemic restrictions a celebration of life for Leo will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations made to a charity of your choosing in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.
