Obituary of Léona “Mimi” Dagenais (nee Lance)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of my dear mother Léona “Mimi” Dagenais (nee Lance) at the Pontiac Community Hospital on Friday, December 24th 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved daughter of the late Léo Lance and the late Annie St-Pierre. Predeceased by her loving husband Isidore Dagenais and her children Yvon, Victor, Pauline and Noël. She leaves to mourn her son Denis (Lisa) and dearly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Marie-Pier, Micheline (Christine), Amenda (Joshua), Candace (Travis), Denis Jr. (Rebecca), Kevin (Jessika), Skylar, Oceanne, Maëly, Aubrielle, Braelynne and Miguel. Special sister of the late Aurèle (Ueunice), Anna (late Antonio), Raymond (Sandra), Marianne, Claudia (late Pete) and Gloria (Luc). She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Gone to reunite with her best friend, the late Juliette St-Pierre (George).
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec on Thursday, January 6, 2021 in the intimacy of family only. Interment to take place in the spring 2022. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
