Leona’s Obituary
Stoddard, Leona Matilda – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leona, age 90 at Roseway Manor, Shelburne on July 26, 2021. Born on May 3, 1931 in Newellton, to the late Edmund and Othelia (Hendrickson) Cunningham. Leona lived most of her life in Barrington Passage where she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Leona is survived by daughter, Diana (John) Stewart; son, Michael (Susan) Stoddard; grandchildren, Lisa, Christopher, Stephanie, Scott, Patricia and Timothy; nine great grandchildren; brother, Leigh (Marsha) Cunningham and son-in-law, Keith Davies. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, George Stoddard; daughter, Sheila; sisters, Louise and Sheila (infancy). Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. As per Leona’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Roseway Manor for their compassion and care of our mother and family. Memorial donations may be made to Roseway Manor or any charity of choice.
