Léona Arsenault
1928-2021
Léona Arsenault, 93, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital,
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday December 30, 2021. She was married to
the late Ovila Arsenault (2010). Born in Restigouche, Québec she
was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Lina (Boudreau)
Bujold.
She will be sadly missed by her six children; Lina O’Brien
(Gary) of Shediac, Dianne Bailey (Peter) of Fredericton, Denis
(Solange) of Moncton, Jean (Noella), Michel (Irma) and Mario
(Michelle) of Saint-Antoine, one son-in-law; Léonard Gaudet of
Memramcook her twelve grandchildren and fourteen great
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one daughter Jeanne, one sister Lorraine and
one brother Lionel.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Roman
Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine on Tuesday January 4, 2022 from 2:30 to
3:45 pm. A private funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church on
Tuesday January 4, 2022 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish
cemetery in the spring.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS, ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE CHURCH AS
PER THE PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
In Léona’s memory, donations may be made to the parish
fund.
