NEWMANN, Leo Tony (1942 – 2021) – promoted to the loving arms of his Lord & Saviour at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 in his 79th year. Cherished husband of Sharon Newmann (nee Tyers) of Simcoe. Loving father of Carolyn Arauza (Alex) of Minnesota and Shawn Newmann of Simcoe. Devoted grandfather of Lillian, Avery, Thomas, Kendal, Elise, Evelyn, Adelaide, Janelle, Justin and Natalie. Leo will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Laura Bahula (Frank) of Pine Grove, Margaret Colman (Roger) of Putnam and Norma Foster (Glenn) of Belmont. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by his sisters Dorothy Hambleton (late Rupert) and Charlotte Newmann. A private family visitation & service was held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 with Pastors Tom Haines & Tim Bahula officiating. Interment: Courtland Baptist Cemetery. Those wishing to donate in memory of Leo are asked to consider Grace Baptist Church, Simcoe. Donations may be mailed to the funeral home. A youtube link of the funeral service will be available Wednesday evening after 6:00 p.m. under the title “Leo Newmann Funeral Service”.
