SALVADOR, Angiolina “Lena” (nee Santoni)
Lena passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 11, 2021 at the age of 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Elio (2006). She will be dearly missed by her children Richard and his wife Sheila, Nancy Grimaldi and her husband Anthony, and Denis and his wife Karen. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Salvador, Shannon Salvador and her husband Jared Lee, Erin Patterson and her husband Andrew Hull, Michael Patterson and his wife Lisa Van Huyse, Jillian Salvador and her husband Mark Archambeault, Lindsay Salvador and her husband Mark Busser, and Kara Salvador and her husband Andrew Ostasz. Lena was a very proud and loving Nonna to her 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Cesar Santoni, and survived by her niece Linda Dayler, and her nephews Carl and Daniel Santoni. The family would like to thank Highgate Residence of Ancaster, Bayshore HealthCare, and her family physician Dr. Adenike Ajani for the care and compassion they provided Lena over the past two years. No visitation will take place. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann’s Parish, 11 Wilson St. W. Ancaster, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 10 a.m. Due to Covid-19, if you wish to attend, please RSVP in advance at www.dermodys.com or by calling 905-388-4141. Masks and social distancing are required. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
