Lemuel Lem O Cotton 1951 2021

It is with deep sadness we announce the
passing of Lemuel “Lem” Owen
Cotton, age 69, of Springhill, NS. Lem passed
away at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Friday, June 4,
2021.
Born in Athol, NS, he was a son of the
late Alton and Beulah (Weatherbee) Cotton.
Lem worked in Ontario most of his life,
returning to Nova Scotia to retire a few years ago. He
enjoyed playing guitar, playing darts and watching all kinds of
sports.
He will be dearly missed by his
daughters Lisa (George) Cotton, Springhill, NS, and Sharon (Chris)
Thurrott, Moncton, NB; grandchildren Andrew Cotton, Emily Cotton,
Kallie and Waylon Thurrott; brothers John (Darlene), Athol, NS, Roy
(Dora), Ontario, Doug (Peggy), Athol, NS, Colin, Athol; sister Ethel
Baxter, Athol, NS; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by brothers Donald and Allison and sister Hazel
Porter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A private burial will be
held in the Athol Cemetery.

to the charity of your choice.
