Lawrence “Butch” Zinman
1941 -2021
Peacefully, comfortably and surrounded by family, Lawrence “Butch” Zinman passed away at home on April 21st in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of the late Rhoda Zinman (Hubscher). Devoted father and father-in-law of Mitch (Jo) Zinman and Liz (Jeff) Kofsky. Adoring and proud Zaida of Josh and Ben Kofsky, Jamie and Nolan Zinman. Dear brother of the late Hershey Zinman and brother-in-law of Elaine Madoff (and the late Fred ), the late Norman and the late Irma Hubscher, the late Paul and the late Beth Hubscher and Shayna and Sol Shuster. Cherished son of the late Abie and the late Betty Zinman and special nephew of the late Claire Guttman. Will be sadly missed by his partner Valerie Eisen and her children Mark Kostove (Nika) and Lorne Kostove. He was greatly loved by all his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thanks to Dr. John Hilton, Dr. Paul Hacker and their teams for their ongoing care, support and compassion.
Butch was a dedicated volunteer and fundraiser for so many wonderful causes. His calm and quiet demeanor, his integrity, and his devotion to his family, his extended family, his community and his friends (both on and off the golf course) will be dearly missed.
A Private Graveside Service for Lawrence will be held at Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street, on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
