Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of 85. Loving mother of Verne Sawyer and his wife Kathy. Proud Grandma of Nathan Sawyer and his wife Joanna, and Katrina Sawyer. Great-grandmother of Nora. Dear sister of Alvin Leonhardt (late Velma) and the late Mervin Leonhardt (Enid) and Lester Leonhardt (Betty). Predeceased by her husband John Emerson Smith. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467.
