It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Laurie LeBlanc, age 88 of Bouctouche. He passed away at Villa du Repos in Moncton, on Friday, April 16, 2021.
Born in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Lionel and Joséphine LeBlanc (nee Robichaud).
Laurie was retired from a 33-year career with Irving Oil Limited.
Laurie will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Edna. He is also survived by four brothers: Omer (Jeannine Archambault) of Bouctouche, Jean-Paul (Shirley) of Sus, Albéo (Léonie) of Bouctouche and Noël (late Wilma) of Moncton; his sisters: Dora (Paul-Émile Després) of Cocagne, Victorine (late Roger Maillet) of Bouctouche, Aline (Georges Allain) of Bouctouche, Dorilla (Gérard LeBlanc) of Cocagne and Bernadette (Daniel Caissie) of Moncton: also by several nephews and nieces.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers: Alfred, Donald and Emery.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no visitations. A private funeral service will be held for family only.
In memory of Laurie, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Villa du Repos for their attentive care and support for Laurie during his stay.
