Laurie Joanne McIntosh
July 13, 1971 to September 26, 2021
Laurie passed unexpectedly at the age of fifty years and will be greatly missed by family and friends. She spent her whole life in Maple Ridge and was a familiar face around town as she walked a great deal. Laurie’s family includes one sister, Heather, and two brothers, Michael and David. Her parents, Tom and Lea McIntosh, live in Whonnock, where she was raised. She attended Garibaldi High School.
Laurie has one son, Eric, who is a member of the RCMP on Vancouver Island. Eric and Roanna have two children, three year old Olivia and Liam who is one. Laurie was excited to be a grandmother.
A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
Donations to Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster or a hospital of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Laurie loved cats and so a donation to Katy’s Place for Cats in Maple Ridge would be another choice.
