Laurel Shire Cook, beloved wife of Lee Cook, passed away in Winnipeg Manitoba Thursday, October 7th, 2021.
Graveside services for Laurel will be held at Riga Cemetery Saturday, October 23rd at 1:00 p.m. SK (2:00 p.m. MB) with Sheilagh Garrett officiating.
Laurel was born December 20, 1970 in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. Laurel was an only child to Marjory and Jack Shire, but had many cousins that she considered siblings. She spent the majority of her life living in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, graduating high school in Moosomin, Saskatchewan and then going on to obtain her Diploma in Practical Nursing in 2018. She married the love of her life, Lee Cook, July 1st 2018. Laurels pride in life were her 6 children and 4 grandchildren. Laurel is predeceased by parents Marjory and Jack Shire.
Laurel is survived by her husband Lee Cook, and children Ashley (Chad), Alyssa (Cameron), Austin (Lucy), Ami (Braydon), Nick and Lillie, and by her 4 grandchildren.
Laurel will be missed dearly by family, friends, and co-workers.
