Obituary of Laura Dorothy Salsman
Laura Dorothy Salsman, 98 of Cambridge passed away on April 30, 2021 in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Walden, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Matilda (Nauss) Carver.
Laura was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in keeping a well-maintained home, and enjoyed baking and gardening. She was a member of the Trinity United Church in Waterville, and worked at Larsen Packers Ltd in Berwick for over thirty years.
Laura is survived by her sister Esther Legge; brother Leonard Carver; eight grandchildren, and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Laura was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Franklyn Salsman and sons Clifford Stephen Salsman and Wayne Alwyn Salsman.
Due to the COVID pandemic, a Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date in the Berwick Cemetery. Family Flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations, in Laura’s memory, may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation . Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
