LARRY WAYNE CLOWATER (1939-2021)
Mr. Larry Wayne Clowater, of North Head, Grand Manan, NB,
passed away unexpectedly at The Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint
John, NB, with his wife be his side, on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at
the age of 82. Larry was born in Ludlow, NB; he was the son of the
late Ernest and Vera (Parker) Clowater.
Larry enjoyed collecting paintings and displaying them in his
home. His hobbies where gardening, he also enjoyed caning chairs.
Larry was in charge of maintenance at the Grand Manan Nursing Home for
over 32 years, until he retired. Wherever you saw Larry, he always
greeted you with a friendly smile.
Larry is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Ruth
(Morse) Clowater, of North Head; his daughters, Heather Clowater
(Bruno) of Montreal, QC, Heidi Clowater (Terry) of Riverview, NB, and
Hope Clowater of Montreal, QC; brothers Scott Clowater (Beth) of
Ludlow, NB, Norman Clowater (Sharon) of Ludlow, NB and Michael
Clowater (Janice) of Fredericton, NB, also nieces and nephews; he will
also be greatly missed by his extended family and many
friends. Larry is predeceased by his parents, and his sister
June Calhoun.
There will be private Graveside Service for family. Interment
will follow at North Head Community Cemetery.

can be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation of NB,
or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral
arrangements are in the care of Ells Funeral Home Inc., 1199 Route
