It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Larry Reid of Marystown announces his passing. Larry passed away at the Burin peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Monday, April 5th, 2021 at the age of 65. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Sheila of 40 years; his mother, Tobitha Reid; son, Philip Reid of Marystown; daughter, Natasha Abbott (Gary) of Burin; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Marcus, and Mitchell; brothers, Weldon Reid (Beverly), and Randolf Reid (Juanita); sisters, Madonna Legge of Marystown, Holly Reid (Gordon) of Marystown, Lorraine Burgess (Clyde) of New Harbour, Carolyn Brown (Denis) of Cavendish, Geraldine Howse (David) of Carbonear, and Rosalind Reid of St. John’s; his best buddies, Sean Collier and Hayward Reid; and his homecare worker, Heather O’Keefe; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Larry was predeceased by
his father, Robert Reid; brother, Robert Reid.
The Reid Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Thursday, April 8th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm and Friday, April 9th from 10am-12pm, 2-4pm, & 7-9pm. A private funeral service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown on
Saturday, April 10th at 1pm, cremation to follow.
In Larry’s memory donations made be made to The Reid Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
