WAGLER, Larry Melvin “Wally”, 63, of R.R. 2, Tavistock passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
He was born at Stratford on January 18, 1958 a son of the late Melvin and Doris (Zehr) Wagler.
Wally and his family operated a Poultry Farm; he had also worked at New-Life Mills in Tavistock for 27 years; was a member of the South Easthope Tug-O-War Team and Grace United Church in Tavistock.
Wally is survived by his wife, the former Wendy Darlene Mohr, whom he married at Tavistock on September 21, 1979; three children, Michelle Wagler, Krystle and husband Jesse McCauley, Derek Wagler and friend Elizabeth Bisak; two grandchildren Emma and Ella McCauley; his brother Wayne Wagler; his sisters, Betty Green-Rose and her husband Cecil; Brenda Barnes and her husband Tom, Janet Nafziger and her husband Mark; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Mohr, Sharon Miller, Shirley and Frank Wabro, Barry and Marlene Mohr, Judy and Cordell Assman along with several nieces, nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Steve Green, Ronald Mohr and Jack Miller. A family celebration of Wally’s life was held in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Friday, April 30, 2021 with interment in Grace United Cemetery, Tavistock.
