Larry Franklin Henley June 2 2021

Henley, Larry Franklin – age 65, of Dean passed away June 2, 2021 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was a son of the late Russell and Mary (Lemmon) Henley.
Larry spent his working years in the forestry industry until he suffered a spinal cord injury in 2000.
Family was important to Larry and he looked forward to annual family reunions which were held at his home. Larry was passionate about sports of all kinds and was an avid Habs fan. He was a lifetime member of the Lemmon Hill Sports Association and took pride in knowing there were activities for his community.
He will always be loved and sadly missed by his loving wife of almost 39 years, Lucy (Lemmon); sisters, Donna (Lee) Crossman and Lisa (Jason Boutilier); niece, Julie (Trent) and nephew, Chad (Gillian).
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Until then, please join us on our back deck (groups of 10) to share memories.
Special thanks to Doctors Short, Johnson and Williams, Continuing Care Nurses and Home Support for their wonderful care.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Paraplegic Association (NS).
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
Larry’s outlook at life and strong will to live carried him through to the end. When asked “How are things?” his response was always “Oh good”.
Always in our hearts
