Kimberly Edith Rose
“Kym” Barnes – age 66, of Melanson, passed away
peacefully at home on Saturday, December 25, 2021. Born in Wolfville,
she was a daughter of Chesley “Chet” and Theresa
“Terry” (Johnson) Davidson, Gaspereau. In addition to her
parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Richard; daughter,
Holly (Rodolfo) Dominguez, Fairview, Texas; son, Ryan (Jenefer),
Severn, Ontario; four grandchildren, Nicolas, Diego, Sofia, Nolan; two
sisters, Kelly (David) Sheehan, Tupper Lake; Kathy Rogers, Kentville;
brother, Michael (Jennifer), Lumsden; many nieces, nephews, extended
family members and friends. Cremation has taken place and there will
be no visitation, by request. A private funeral service will be held
in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A webcast of the service
will be available at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2022. Donations in
memory may be made to the Salvation Army. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville. In accordance with the Nova Scotia Proof of Full
Vaccination Policy, proof of full vaccination will be required to
attend visitations, services and receptions held in or by the White
