Obituary of Kevin Herbert McIsaac
McISAAC, Kevin H.
Pictou
Challenge Completed. Game of Life finished. Kevin Herbert McIsaac left his earthly life behind to join God’s Family on June 4, 2021. The oldest of ten children born to the late Herbert and Marguerite (Cheverie). Kevin passed in the Victoria General Hospital ICU with his wife of 40 years and son by his side. An electrician by trade, Kevin was known for doing the job right the first time and in death he did the same making sure that all wishes and work was completed before leaving us. Missing Kevin dearly is his wife, Ethel (Cameron) McIsaac; daughter, Carol Ann Connors (David Burns), Lyons Brook; son, Warren McIsaac, Island East River; grandsons of whom he was so proud, Gage, Jaxon and Brett Connors, Eston and Xander McIsaac; godson, Bevan Woodacre, Summerside; son-in-law, David Connors; daughter-in-law, Laura McIsaac; sisters, Dorothy Poirier, Grace Ellis, Debby (Charles) Matheson, Janet Murray, all of Pictou; brothers, Albin (Cathy), John, both of Pictou; David (Denise), Cole Harbour; Wayne (Kerri), Miller Lake; sisters-in-law, Sandi Arthur, New Glasgow; Lorna (Peter) Martin, Godsford, AU; brothers-in-law, David (Judy) Cameron, White Hill; Carl Cameron, New Glasgow; along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his sister, Ann; brothers-in-law, George Murray, Bill Arthur; mother and father-in-law, Eston and Helen Cameron; nephew, Christian Poirier. Those that knew Kevin knew that he faced each health challenge head on and accepted his fate which he said could always be worse with a positive attitude. The family would like to thank Denise MacLean, Christa Hazel, Jen Clarke and Jenny Sanford for their terrific care and great friendship they gave him at the QEII Satellite Dialysis site at the Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital for the last 4 years as well as nurses and doctors at the VG 3A ICU but especially for the loving care given to him in his last days by Emma, Kristen, Jenn, Lindsey and Melanie. You were so good to him that it was easy for me to leave him each day in your care. Cremation has taken place with a private funeral to be held in the future when Ethel and Kevin can be reunited again for eternity. Donations in Kevin’s memory may be made to the QEII Satellite Dialysis site at the Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital Patient comfort fund.
Life is short so don’t put off doing today as we are not guaranteed tomorrow.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Kevin
