Swannell, Kenneth Paul
Passed away peacefully at home in Orillia with family by his side on Monday February 1st 2021 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Verna (nee Stephens) of 47 years. Loving father of Mervin (Catherine), Alvin (Joanne), Marlene (Jack), Kimberley; stepfather of Paul (Eileen), Brenda (Stan), Proud grandfather of Rebecka, Miranda, Chad, Courtney, Ashley, Travis, Dylan, Gordon, Samantha, Nicholas, Thomas, Iliana, Jake, Nicole; great grandfather of Payton, Brady, Bennett, Bryce, Carter, Jason, Marissa, Cayden, Leila, Nevaeh, Liberty, Declan, Tobias, and Rosie. Dear brother of Walter-deceased, Richard-deceased, Robert, Weston, and Irene. Ken will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends. Ken’s family wish to extend a Huge thank you to Dr. Dharssi, CFHT, LHIN, Bayshore Health Care and Care Partners, especially Donna B for their exceptional care. A private family graveside service will be held at Trinity United Church Cemetery, Collingwood. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date for all to attend. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E. Orillia ON 705 327-0221.
