Kenneth Neil Rhind, 58, of Grand lake, NS
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ken on October 2, 2021. He had a hard battle with a chronic illness. He passed away peacefully at home surround by his family.
Ken is survived by his wife Jocelyn (Armstrong) of 33 years. His children, daughter, Lydia Rhind (Alex Brymer), two sons, Colton and Austin Rhind and granddaughter Emalynn Rhind, who Ken loved dearly. Ken is also survived by his loving sisters, Ellen Rhind, Leona Hyland (Bruce), Heather Wilkinson(Sid), and Valerie Pettipas. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ken is predeceased by his parents, Neil and Ruth (Ogilvie) Rhind. Ken is also predeceased by his brothers, Doug Rhind (Janet), Kelvin Rhind, and David Rhind. As well as his sisters Shirley Hunter (Keith)and Caroline Rhind.
Ken ran a local business, Anchor Sawing and Drilling, for the last 32 years. He was a staple in the community. The legacy will continue as his son Colton will continue to run the business.
Ken was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with family. Ken enjoyed being outside working in the yard and tending his fish pond. He will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at the family home in Grand Lake on Saturday October 8th, 2021 from 2-4 pm
