Kenneth’s Obituary
Keddy, Kenneth Maxwell – Age 99 of Greenwood Kings County passed away peacefully Saturday, November 6, 2021, in the Veteran’s Unit of Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Greenwood he was son of the late Harold and Myrtle (Morse) Keddy. Ken was proud to have served in the Second World War with West Nova Scotia Regiment and First Special Service Force. In his spare time, he enjoyed driving stock car at Meadowvale Raceway. He also enjoyed woodworking and always liked keeping busy. He was well known in Greenwood as a mechanic. Ken’s favourite saying was, “That’s hard to believe”. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Ken is survived by daughter, Shirley (Gene) Meister, Tremont; sons, Robert (Susan), Oakville, ON, Ashley Keddy, Greenwood, Vaughn (Linda), Greenwood; sister, Frances, Dartmouth; brother, Bill, P.E.I.; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by his wife, Frances (Rawle); daughters, Bessie & Susan; son, Stephen. The family would like to thank the staff of At Home Senior Care and the Veteran’s Wing of Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
