Kenneth Lloyd “Ken” Hughson
1960-2021
Kenneth Lloyd “Ken” Hughson
– age 60, of East Kingston, passed away on Monday, September
27, 2021, at home. Born in Toronto, ON, he was a
son to the late Lloyd Hughson.
Ken was a
loving partner, father, friend and adored by his grandchildren. He had
been employed as a forklift driver at Michelin. He was an animal lover
and especially loved his Shih Tzu,
Bentley.
He is
survived by his partner, Victoria Whiteman; daughters, Jessie Whiteman
(Jamie Sanford) and Jennie Whiteman (Terry Mapplebeck); sons, James
Whiteman and Jeremy Whiteman; grandchildren, Jade, Saphire, Dylan,
Isabelle and Davida and brother, Lloyd
Hughson.
Ken will be
remembered as the kind-hearted loving person he was. He will be deeply
missed by his lifelong friends Richard and
Dave.
Ken loved to
be with his family and friends and spent as much time as he could with
his children and grandchildren. He was always up for a trip to the
shore and hanging around the
fire.
He was there
whenever he was needed and was the rock of the
family.
A private
family gathering will take place in the White Family Funeral Home,
Kentville.
Donations in
Ken’s memory may be made to the SPCA – Kings
Shelter or a charity of your
choice.
Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family
Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line condolences
