Kenneth Keith 2021

Death Notice
KEITH, Kenneth McKellar
The family of Ken Keith is saddened to announce his passing on March 16, 2021. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Chalmers) for 57 wonderful years. Loving father of Mary Siegner (John) and Christine Kelly (David) and proud Papa to Evan, Cameron, Ethan, Lauren and Nicole. He will be missed by sister-in-law Mary Leatham, brother-in-law Dave Chalmers and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Elizabeth Keith of Montreal.
Ken was a graduate of Concordia University (B Comm) and Western University (MBA). He had a fulfilling career in business, including 30 years at IBM Canada. Ken was a long-serving elder at Trinity (Toronto) and Oakridge (London) Presbyterian Churches. Upon retirement he was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Middle. A true example in faithful service.
Ken enjoyed a social game of bridge, a round of golf with friends, being behind the camera, and anywhere there was dark chocolate. He cherished time spent with family and friends, especially at their cottage in Harcourt Park. His passions included cheering on his Montreal Canadiens, caring for birds in the backyard and at the cottage, and completing the daily crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
Ken will be deeply missed by Jean. They were constant companions, avid travellers, and enjoyed nights out at the theatre as much as quiet nights at home. Always putting family first, he was a strong source of encouragement and support for his children and grandchildren. Ken will be fondly remembered by many for being a good listener and providing well-thought advice. His calm and caring demeanour, and kind and thoughtful ways endeared him to all who were blessed to have known him. Always a true gentleman.
If desired, donations would be appreciated to the Kiwanis Club of Middle, Oakridge Presbyterian Church, Mission Services London, or a charity of your choice.
A private family service will take place on Saturday, March 27th at 2 pm. For a ZOOM invitation to join family at that time, or to view a recording of the service, please email Harris Funeral Home: info@harrisfuneralhome.ca
