Surrounded by family, Ken passed away peacefully at home after a short courageous battle with cancer at the age of 74.
Ken is predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Rita of Wiarton.
Beloved husband to Cathy. Dear father of Andrew (Heather) and Janissa (Kyle). Stepfather of Wendy (John) and Adam (Andrea).
Proud and loving grandfather of Reece, Gregory, Anthony, Bradley, Payton, Travis, Dylan, Cadence and Bentley. Stepgrandfather of Victoria and Andrew.
Ken will be fondly remembered by his sister Joyce Boychuk (late Alex), in-laws Ralph and Ann Edwards, brothers-in-laws Daniel Edwards (Maryann), Victor and Keith (Debbie), along with many nieces and nephews.
Former employee of Molson, Barrie and Toronto, Ken put his heart and soul into his own company Moonstone Mechanical Inc. His recent years were spent enjoying semi retirement on Stonecrop Estate in Foxmead, with many family, friends and neighbours.
Special thanks to Bayshore Nursing, Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, RVH Cancer Centre, and Couchiching Family Health Team for all the great care given to Ken.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations in Ken’s memory can be made to Mariposa House Hospice or a charity of your choice.
