We regret to announce the passing of Kenneth Arthur Julian Fougere at the age of 85 after a long courageous battle with cancer on December 23, 2021 at the Richmond Villa, St. Peter’s N.S. He was born in French Cove, Richmond Co. in 1936.
He is survived by his long time companion, Marilyn Jones, Richmond Villa; brothers, Nicholas Fougere, Petawawa. Ont.; Alex ‘Boo’ (Arabelle) Fougere, Big Pond; sisters, Glenora (James) MacDonald, Mt. Auburn; Celena MacDonald, Hay Cove.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Cisly Fougere; sister, Janet Lewis; brother, Mickey Fougere; brothers-in-law, Art Lewis and John MacDonald; sister-in-law, Peggy Fougere; and two siblings in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19, there will be a graveside service at a later date. Memorial Donations can be made to the Richmond Villa or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Green’s Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
