It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ken on Monday, July 26, 2021. Ken passed away peacefully with his wife by his side. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, November 29, 1954 and adopted by Mary & Kenneth Beck (Senior), he grew up in Port Charlotte, Florida. He then followed his heart to marry a Canadian girl and his best friend, Sue. Married for 46 years, Ken & Sue built a life in Mississauga with their two daughters, Jennifer (David) and Christina.
Family was everything to Ken. He adored his wife and daughters, and enjoyed the many adventures they shared over the years. Go big or go home, Ken’s passions had him spending time on the golf course, scuba diving in the Caribbean, boating on Georgian Bay, and travelling. He especially enjoyed his most recent travels with retirement in Costa Rica.
A true leader at heart, Ken dedicated his 40-year career to helping others with their financial dreams and mentored many of Investors Group’s (now IG Wealth Management) brightest stars. Well loved and respected, Ken’s larger than life personality will be greatly missed by family, friends and former colleagues.
Dad – Wherever you are, we hope you’re enjoying a Cheeseburger in Paradise.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private celebration of Ken’s life will be held.
For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Peel (Alzheimer.ca)

  1. I had the pleasure of working directly with Ken for several years. He was a great boss! He worked hard and expected the same of his team, but he knew how to celebrate the accomplishments in style! I’ll never forget a management team Christmas diner at Canoe. The wine (hand-picked by Ken) and company were second to none.

My heartfelt condolences to Ken’s family and many friends. May you rest in peace.
