Death notice for the town of: London, Province: Ontario
I am a courier in London who saw Kelly everyday. We talked some and sometimes alot…we shared life experiences and life downfalls. He was an amazing person….heart…and soul. Although not “hanging out”… I considered him a friend. Les informed me today of this tragedy and my heart broke. He will sincerely be missed by myself and anyone who’s life he touched. Rest peacefully my friend. Always remembered and will never be forgotten… Your smile and humor…. appreciated…your kindness and willingness to listen….warming…you as a person….a gift. Your friend Debbie.
I worked with Kelly in the Exeter Road complex in London for many years. We would take turns buying coffee etc from Tim Hortons, along with his co-worker Les. He was always ready with a kind word, had a great sense of humour, and smile for everyone. He was a great listener, thoughtful and so patient! Ever patient but laid down the law with some misbehaving kids one year at Take our Kids to Work day in the building, which was great. Kelly took his job seriously and I respected him. I remember Kelly speaking about his work with MADD and participating in military re-enactments and his military past and thought he was a great person that always looked to help others. He spoke about his mom and family with such affection and I know he will be missed by so many people in that building, and more. This was too soon that we lost Kelly. I am crying now as I write this. You will be remembered.
I had the pleasure of working side by side with my good and dear friend Kelly for over five and a half years. His wit and smile were always a constant in his everyday life. Kelly is without doubt one of the most reliable, dependable and honorable people I have ever had the privilege to know. To say that he will be sorely missed is such a huge understatement. Kelly has been taken from us all far, far too soon. My fond memories of you my good friend will stay with me for a lifetime and more. You truly are one of a kind.
