Bain, Keith Herman – age 68, of North Chegoggin, Yarmouth Co., N.S., passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax on October 9, 2021. Born in Yarmouth on June 14, 1953, he was a son to the late Robert and Nellie (Thibedeau) Bain. Keith was a member of the Sou’ West Nova Scotia ATV Association, Yarmouth Rails to Trails, and a self-described “Jack of all trades.” He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Mary (Deveau) Bain; sons, Jeremy R. (Tusket); Kristian D. Bain (Anisa Maruschak) Burnaby, B.C.; brothers, Herb (Lorraine) Plymouth; Bruce (Sharon) Winnipeg, MB; sister, Helen Bain, Morinville, AB; honorary family members, Shane, Alice, Paige and Parker Deveau. Besides his parents, Keith was predeceased by brothers James Clayton Bain and George William Bain; twins Iva and Jeremiah in infancy; and brother Henry Robert Bain in infancy. A family and invited guests celebration of Keith’s life will be held Friday, November 19, 2021, from 2 until 2:30 p.m. in Jacob’s Loft Event Center (above Sweeny’s Funeral Home, wheelchair accessible). From 2:30 until 4 p.m., there will be an open visitation/reception for the public to attend. As per the Nova Scotia Government Covid-19 mandate, proof of vaccine and masks will be required.
